I was first looking for these ceiling lights to add some light to my closet and instead stumbled upon them in my search for Revain and I did am so glad i found you. What a fantastic thing! You can switch between manual (press button to turn on/off) and automatic (turn on/off with motion). They hold 4 AAA batteries and the compartment attaches to the wall and then secures with Velcro for easy on and off when the batteries need to be replaced. The lights are super bright. My closet is approximately 8ft x 7ft x 2ft D. I bought 2 sets of lamps but one would have been enough to light up the room. It took less than 2 minutes to glue both rolls. ONE NOTE: After reading previous reviews, I knew that some people had had the backing peel off, so I knew I had to be careful when removing the paper. . The end of the tape was slightly raised and I could see how easy it would be to completely remove the sticky side. Just be careful when launching and there will be no problems. I would definitely recommend it to any other cabinet lighting option - and I did a LOT of research before buying.
