Adorable, with the right type of paper towels
This giraffe is adorable and works great in our kitchen. The paper towels we usually use did unravel and cover the base, like so many other reviews have shown. Then we tried Viva Strong and Soft paper towels, which cling to the roll just enough to stay put, but still pull off with ease. The giraffe is sturdy enough to withstand the unraveling with one hand, but I still need to stabilize it to pull them off the roll. No hard jerking like with a traditional wider base stand. I love the overall look, but deducted a star for not working with every brand of paper towels.
