The inner liner made of stainless steel had a hole.

When I first used a thermos for coffee, I was curious that it was hot outside. Then when I got to work, coffee spilled in my backpack. When I opened the thermos, the coffee was bubbling as if air was rushing in. The image shows a dark spot near the inner bottom. If it's a "one mistake in a million"? Winner. Winner.
