bright shining star

THE GOOD: The title of the review is "Bright Shining Star" and it's definitely the first thing you'll notice, this thing is really bright. There are some "pre-set" display settings that can be toggled that are useful. After my eyes adjusted, I settled on the default setting. This is probably the best choice when light hits your display. I wasn't able to make the monitor phantom. I tested him with torture and nothing. Even extremely fast video without sacrificing quality. Now I don't want to play games anymore. He is tall. No, I'm not trying to be funny, he's just big. I originally thought 27" would be a bad decision. The visible area is fantastic, I can basically fit two text documents with a regular layout 100% without side scrolling. Wonderful. BAD: It's big, and no, I'm not trying I'm a little worried about the relative size of the monitor to the stand. I have a cat who prefers to be affectionate when I'm working on the computer. I've seen this thing tip over on contact more than once. You just need to find the weight to put on the stand, but be careful with pets, small children, or a shaky work surface.Controls leave a lot to be desired.Touch point markers appear gray instead of white and are heavy in a poorly lit room After going through the menu 10-20 times while trying to turn off the device, you begin to learn the structure . Sometimes the monitor takes a while to wake up from sleep, but that's really just a minor inconvenience. OVERVIEW: If you're looking for a great monitor without spending too much, this is your choice.

Pros
  • Works great for my needs. Nice and big and looks good to me, but I'm not that picky.
Cons
  • I had to replace it
