The clip works as expected, but I generally have some problems with products of this type, so I hesitate to recommend them for mobile games. This product is intentionally broken at the bottom as the plastic has little flexibility and after several uses and removals the part holding the clip in place broke off. This rendered the product unusable, but honestly for the price I can't really *complain* about it. What I do complain about is that clips like this are extremely heavy when used with heavier phones; basically every currently available phone. I've used this clip with everything from the LG G6 to the Note 9 to the LG V60 and it's always been a bulky and frustrating experience as the phone shifts most of the weight forward and puts more strain on the wrists instead of more have a comfortable center of gravity between both hands. This makes long gaming sessions all but impossible, and to make matters worse, since you're using it with an Xbox One controller, portability is pretty much nil since you're not carrying a full-size controller with you for everyday use be able. If so, you can grab a full-size laptop to play with instead of relying on your mobile device. Also, most Xbox One controllers have a central LED below the home button, which can be glaring at night when you have to hold the controller very close to your face to see the screen. There are much better mobile gaming options out there. and I strongly recommend a GameVice product or even a Razer Junglecat if your phone is supported by those companies. However, if you can 3D print a custom case, the Razer Junglecat seems like the perfect option for portable Android gaming.
