Overall I am satisfied with this Wi-Fi remote control for my bedroom fan. I was annoyed that there were no instructions included. I've googled and googled and googled the product instructions but couldn't find anything. My problem was that my fan had two wall switches, one for the lights, one for the fan. I called Revain because the product came with "free product support" but they couldn't help. Finally, a few minutes after asking for a refund, I decided to search YouTube for instructions on how to connect the fan controller. It turns out that while this remote does support Alexa (which I definitely wanted), it's exactly the same as remotes without Alexa support. This disables one of the two switches (I chose the red one that controls the lighting set) and means all fan/light power comes from just one hot wire. You no longer need an independent light switch as it is controlled by a remote control, a smartphone app or a smart speaker. So now I'm a happy consumer!
