This is a quality scarf. But let's see what it's made of: 57% cotton, 32% viscose, 11% cashmere. So 32% is viscose – a type of rayon made from wood that becomes cellulose and then through chemical processing becomes viscose fabric. While viscose is biodegradable, it is not eco-friendly due to the chemicals used and wood sourced from forests (other than sustainable forestry). Hand wash, do not bleach and low iron if desired. Made in China. Nice scarf at this price but it's not just cotton and cashmere!
