We needed a small bedside table and this piece fits - once assembled it's a great height for a bed or next to any upholstered furniture. The construction took about 15 minutes - only the necessary tools are included! Pros: Solid construction on all exterior surfaces, both top and middle shelves. Ideal for lamps, short stacks of textbooks and plates (washable surface for typical, non-extreme use) Adjustable "legs" if placement has an uneven or warped base. Beautiful wood look. Easy assembly, necessary tools and extra screws included. Robust and compact for small spaces. Does what it says on the tin. Minus - we took off a star for the box - it's a suede front with a paper and fabric inside. It's "good enough" but doesn't fit the rest of the chart. The drawer is not designed to hold heavy items and can be dangerous in basements or wet areas where you may be using a dehumidifier or an exhaust fan. It's not a problem for us, and the table could work just fine without it. Overall we are satisfied with this solid and high quality bedside table/side table.
