I had the smaller one and liked it so much I decided to get the bigger one. The lock is actually very easy to set and reset if you need to.The lack of a star is for the random pages I got. The front part is about the 12 constellations. It doesnt take away from the function of the journal, bit from the page number and the aesthetic. I simply dont like how it looks, but it will do that job. I didnt see anywhere in the description (though I could be missing it) that meantions this. Had I had known, I would have just gotten another smaller one.
