Battery cable problems

We play hand to hand six decks of cards two days a week. We shuffle cards quite a lot, and at first it worked fine, and then all of a sudden it didn't work. The batteries were fine, but a wire from the battery was bent and I couldn't straighten it. The return period has passed but I thought I should warn other buyers about this issue. It's okay for twenty bucks, but I'll have to buy another one and spend a little more money on a better one.
