Review on 🐈 Magic Organ Cat Scratching Board: Deformable Accordion with Ball Track - Fun, Educational Toy for Intelligent Kittens by Wendy Key

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I think kittens/younger cats are the target audience for this Magic Organ cat scratching post

One more thing I'll give. It reminds me of the round hard plastic tunnel with a ball inside that we bought when our gray cat was a kitten, except he can transform. When I first took the toy out of the box, it seemed very small, but it expands a bit if you stretch it, insert a ball, and then connect the two magnetic ends together. If your cat really likes it, you have the option of buying a second one and merging the two into a larger circle. The magnetic connection is solid; It won't fall apart while your cat is playing. There was a slight smell at first, but after a few minutes I didn't notice it anymore. Our two cats showed interest immediately. I simulated the movement of the ball and then they both played with it for about ten minutes. I can transform an accordion, but no cat has manipulated it like that. It bends/moves a bit when playing. I don't see our cats using it as a scratching post; It's all about catching the ball or letting it twirl through the tunnel. One of our two cats came back to him for a few minutes on the first day. She came to him the next day when I was pushing the ball but not playing with it, hence 3 stars out of 5 for me. Cat toys are heavy. Your cat loves it or not. I'll be keeping this next to their scratching post for a while and if either of them play with it from time to time I'll edit my review. I think kittens or younger cats (our cats are 10 and 11 years old) will enjoy this toy more. I really think it should be a bit cheaper depending on the material used (corrugated cardboard, a plastic sphere and magnetic tips).

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Can I add anything
