This product is perfect if you are trying to transform a built in bath plug. When we bought our house, a bathroom plug broke and I couldn't fix it without tearing the wires and doing a lot more work than it was worth. Instead, I just bought this cork. All you have to do is remove your current drain cap (if you have one) and glue it on. A lot of sealant is included so you don't have to buy it. If you are using it to replace a plug that is built into the side of your bathtub, simply purchase a plug to cover the hole where the tab used to be. I was a little worried it wouldn't hold up to good suction, especially as it's a bathtub my 4 year old son plays in, but he never once solved it. I haven't noticed any water loss either when the plug is down. All in all a great cork at a very reasonable price.
