I have an opinion on it. So I bought four packs (ten spools each) to make small packs of hair ties for the kids party. Each pack contains 3 Turquoise, 3 Pink, 2 White, 2 Cream. The patterns are cute and the patterns seem to last a long time. So I made 160 hair ties out of those 4 packs (which wasn't as fun as it sounds). I noticed that there are clear differences in the color patterns. The three non-metal models are made of a less durable material than the others. They keep stretching because the elastic isn't as strong. I would recommend making them a little shorter to compensate. But they work like hair ties. I have some left over and have used them to style my very long hair for work/cooking/errands and have no complaints.
