I bought one of these to use as a stress ball and quickly found that if I stretched it any further the skin would tear and it did. The skin on them is too thin to be used for its intended purpose. I suppose if you had the "little old lady" power in your hands it could last for a while, but if you have any hand power at all I wouldn't recommend using one of these as a stress ball. But before I punched a hole in them, I discovered that they have a real use, and that's as a mouse wrist rest. I've always had problems with numbness and pinched nerves in my right wrist because I spend about 60 hours a week on the computer. Regular gel pads help but don't provide enough support because the jerks who make them are trying to make money so they're small. Most of them are designed for a person whose wrists are mostly a big kid. After using a stress ball to rest my wrist on (I bought a second one), all of my underlying wrist problems gradually went away and my wrist didn't feel as normal as it had since I started 25 years ago, so much time am to spend computers. My wrist and arm still get tired, of course, but nowhere is it anywhere near as bad as it used to be. I feel like this thing ever saved me from carpal tunnel surgery, but who knows?
