I have a GM in-dash AM/FM/CD (single disc) player. The CD picked up the disc and attempted to "read" the disc 4-5 times (you could hear the laser sensor moving across the disc). The drive ejected with drive error "ERR 20" after 4-5 attempts to recognize it as a valid drive. I was expecting a cleaning disc to have a full-width brush or set of brushes that would clean the laser and pickup mechanism. . What is this CD with 8 very tiny "whiskers" of what is called "carbon fiber"? Maybe, but the tiny size has NO chance of contacting the laser/sensor. Might work well in a tray-type CD/DVD player where you can move it from track to track, but it's absolutely FREE for an in-dash CD player. And the details of the Revain ad are very vague about what it is and what it does. And that seems to be the intention. Don't waste your money on this product.
