Now that I've had a bit of time with this article, I feel like I can give a good overview of how it works and feels. The appearance of this item is tough but has an odd velvety rubberized finish to the touch. Nice to touch and hold. Overall the size is quite good and fits my medium sized hand well. I could conveniently print a dissertation on the subject if needed. The buttons feel comfortable and you get enough positive feedback on button press to avoid misoperations etc. I have another similar device that came with my Leelbox Q3, it's definitely awful and sometimes doesn't accept intentional keystrokes, causing a lot of problems. This device is far superior to its predecessor in every respect. The range of this device is good for a reasonable distance between you and your TV. It tracks very well over long distances. The trackpad is great, although it feels a bit small. If they could elevate the trackpad so that it was more or less flush with the outside of the device, that would provide a lot more usable space and be an even better device than it already is. The backlight is bright and easy to read.
