It's a decent little travel monitor, even if that travel means moving from one room to another to move to where you want to work or use it with a different device. The monitor itself appears to be of decent quality. The stand fits nicely in a carry case to protect it... but really lacks the strength and quality to be used as a real stand. To be honest I don't feel comfortable trusting it for this kind of use. It's easy to use and set up, although I had to use a different cord to plug it into the wall when I got too far from the outlet, which isn't uncommon...the cord is about 3 feet long. He could definitely use a longer one! Image quality is excellent...superb in fact. So depending on what or where you want to use it for, it's actually a decent second monitor.
