I was disappointed with this item. I sent it back and gave it a 2 star rating. I changed to 3 stars because the company contacted me and tried to make me happier with the purchase. They were kind enough to reimburse me for the return postage. That earned them the third star. The mirror is light and cheap. You could easily throw it on the counter. The light was dim and made my face look a lot greener-grey. It's pretty short, depending on how you use it (unless you're perhaps sitting in your makeup chair), you'll have to bend down to get an idea. I returned this item and purchased a Zadro wall mirror which gives a brighter, more color accurate light and I was able to mount it at a height suitable for my standing applications.
