I was a bit skeptical about how well this would work but I really like it! I need a deep tissue massage and while my husband is usually fond of stroking my neck, he's not always there. So I suggest that you go back and re-read the images posted here on Amazon if you need them. have strong muscles and need deep tissue friction. I had migraines yesterday and it helped so much! Be careful with long hair going down the hairline. It looks alien in design but it's just nice to take care of weird design lol. I've also used it for tight thigh muscles. Works great and the grip is great even for those who have grip issues or those who are not very strong. It does the work for you with little effort. You don't need much strength to massage your neck well.
