I couldn't believe how thick they were on my feet. High quality, perfect for winter or long walks. By the way, I had to go back and edit my post. I first rated these crew socks as too small, couldn't stand them on my first try with the sneakers. I have since tried another pair of roomy running shoes and my winter boots are a size larger. Sock size is ok! (The only thing I find too tight at the moment is the elastic that holds the sock down, but that may be because I'm used to diabetic relief socks. I'll keep them anyway as I like the elastic and cuff can fold down.)
