Review on Gillette Labs Heated Reusable Razor by Bogusawa Kamiska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I wanted this for a whole year, but 15k for it is too expensive, with its functionality 3-5k would be adequate. I, as I already wrote, took for 8k - in general, the norms. At first I was disappointed, I thought that she would shave better than regular gillette machines, but she shaves the same way. But I quickly got used to the effect of heat, which is really present and you feel it quite well, and now I can’t shave with a conventional machine - something is missing. A bonus is the cool appearance of the razor itself and the charging base - it can be a kind of decoration for the base. I don’t regret buying it, if you shave with Gillette machines and are ready to spend money, I advise you to take it. And yes, now there is a complete set with a travel case, it costs 5k separately. So I would take this

Pros
  • 1) cool design of both the razor itself and the charging base; the metal on the razor handle is of high quality, but the plastic and rubber could be better; 2) functionality: it really heats up, there are two modes: 50 degrees and 42, it turns off by itself after 5 minutes of use (just in case you forgot to turn it off) 3) charge: it holds 3-4 shaves for me, although the manufacturer claims 18 minutes of work (it obviously takes longer for me) after that it charges to full in about 6 hours 4) box - looks expensive, made of materials that are pleasant to the touch - ideal for a gift
Cons
  • 1) Proprietary charging cable: Brown, it's time to switch to usb, tired 2) at the charging station, the razor is held by a magnet and is held sluggishly, it is easy to knock it down by hand + it is inserted there indistinctly, i. E. can be placed at angles and crooked 3) the price - the razor itself for a whole year from the moment of the presentation cost 15k or 10k sometimes for promotions, I sold it only in the video, if I remember correctly - it’s very expensive for her, I bought it for 8k, now you can find it cheaper 4) the price of interchangeable cassettes is some kind of disgusting, one cassette for 500-800 is just wildness, although again, now you can find it cheaper 5) I have it like this, but on interchangeable cassettes for this particular model, smoothing strips wear out very quickly . 6) poor equipment for the price of 15k - only a razor, two cassettes, a charging station and a charger
