I used a regular zippered pouch to store my cables when traveling which required some sort of tool to tie each individual cable (unless you like chaos lol). It wasn't bad, but I really like it: a) the elastic straps keep each cord in order without needing anything extra (although it comes with some pretty cool extra velcro straps) and b) they fold neatly when they are opened and I put on No, I don't have to rummage through my bag to find what I'm looking for. It's a really decent size (not too small and not too big) and fits in most wallets, backpacks, etc. There's a sleeve for a tablet or other device, but I haven't used it at all - yet. The fabric seems fairly durable and generally stain and tear resistant, but I haven't tried my fabric to say for sure. Overall I'm very happy with it and definitely reduced my stress from taking all those cables with me on long trips!
