If you are buying this as a set I would not. The tripod is cheap and unsuitable for panning and cannot be described as fluid, and the legs fall apart every time you unfold it. Also, the mic is not the one pictured, it's a cheaper fake. The quality of the camera is 100%, but if you want to take your shots seriously, you should just buy a Canon camera from the store and use the extra hundred you spend on this kit on everything else. It's 1300 and not 1200 because of the extra lens, not other things.
