The first and most important criticism of this microphone is the very poor sound quality for this price range. It makes sense that you're paying for the LEDs on this product, so the sound quality is lower than another microphone of the same cost. However, the LEDs/hardware of 2 of my products were defective. I had an issue where the LEDs would not update when changed through the product software or would not light up at all and not respond at all. I contacted Razer and they said it was faulty hardware and they would provide a replacement. I went through this and shortly after that I had the same issue with the second mic. Now my Amazon return has expired and I'm stuck with this mic. I can probably keep trading it in and hope to get a working one, but it was a terrible experience and I only wish I could go with a mic that at least sounds decent. The useless lighting wasn't worth the bad sound and bad experience with the company to get a working mic. If neither the audio nor the LEDs are bad, I should say it's a faulty microphone.
