Ideal for iPad 4th Gen (2012). All locations for buttons and such are the same as on the iPad. The back of the iPad is surrounded by rubberized plastic. This adds some weight, but when folded, the lid can stand up. There is a magnet on the lid that you can use to activate the sleep/wake function on your iPad.
