Very useful, especially when photographing people on the street. I like that they open easily and are lightweight so they don't add weight to my gear bag. They're also fairly small, about nine inches wide. I'm not a professional photographer - I would probably say I'm a really good amateur - so I can't say if they are professional. But for the price, they're a great addition to my gear and make it really easy to add some reflective light when I'm photographing people. You can also use this for other purposes – such as B. Product photography - but I use it when I'm talking about people shots because I really don't like using flash when I can avoid it. They just give the light a more natural look and also allow me precise control over where it falls. In addition, different color reflectors allow me to control the color and intensity of the light. I mostly use white, but gold gives a really nice color. Definitely recommend them if you want cheap reflectors or just want to experiment with them. For $12 you can't go wrong.
