Yes you get what you pay for and yes they are pretty light. Although I wouldn't call them fragile. They serve their purpose perfectly. These are inexpensive readers that you can keep in different places, throw in your pocket or purse and not worry about damaging your expensive glasses. The hinges are actually sturdier than some glasses I've had before. Anyone who wants more of them might not be happy, but if you're realistic about what you're getting for the price, you might just be surprised at the value. I'm a very lucky tourist. After weeks of careless handling of the pair, they are as perfect as the day I received them, no scratches on the lenses, the hinges are not loose, they just work.
