Cooling shoe plate too thick for some cameras

I bought this pen to use with the Sony A7iii. Unfortunately, the hot shoe plate is too thick to fit in the hot shoe on both the A7iii and the Fuji 100F. It fits Canon 6D but is very tight. The build feels solid and the multiple attachment points are a nice feature.
