I gave it to my niece who is 8 years old. I think she will enjoy doing it. It came with all parts and materials. However, this is not an attractive box. Very generic, no picture of the finished painting to get an idea of what's inside and a lot of foreign language (maybe Mandarin?) on the box. The niece looked confused. I probably won't get another product from this brand as a gift as the packaging is there to show that the product is important. There is also no picture of the finished product inside that I could see. She may be impressed when she's done with work, but it's hard to pique her interest without seeing what she's getting.
