Item seems good enough until you need it for practical use. I've had many laptops, all with different docking stations, and I've never heard of one that doesn't actually power your laptop. The dock has a charging cable slot except it doesn't fit which makes the dock almost unusable especially when I have to work on the laptop all day (see because the dock closes with the charger attached). I really don't know why anyone would want a laptop dock that doesn't charge their laptop, but if you're okay with an expensive accessory that doesn't offer many extras, then this might be the product for you.
