Due to my son's serious injury, his regular comforter was too heavy and his weight was making his chronic pain worse. I risked this blanket and I'm glad I did. It weighs almost as much as my high-tech 100% NorthFace -32F goose down sleeping bag, and at a fraction of the cost! In February 2021, my son's state experienced heavy snowfall, power outages, and frozen pipes. This blanket kept my son warm all the time. It hasn't been washed yet, but damn it. Even super luxurious, super light and fluffy, super expensive blankets, one for winter weight and the second for summer (bought in Germany) don't get as soft and fluffy over time. For $40 (not counting the current discount) I can buy 200 of these if this blanket doesn't wash and dry well! (By the way, it might seem awful to spend a lot of money on a super luxury item for yourself, but on the other hand, I've been cooking, feeding, working, and caring for the homeless in my community for over 20 years.)
