The last time I tried to replace the Incase case I bought for my old Macbook Pro with the cheap version here, it was a disaster . There were clips on the underside of the case that reached very high to the back of the keyboard and were made of sharp-edged plastic. Every time you moved your hands to type, you would get plastic splinters or chafe your wrists. I wasn't thrilled with the InCase either, as it broke very quickly due to the price of $65. I was expecting to return this one as well, but decided to give it a try. Instead I am very happy. The sleeve slides easily onto my new MacBook Pro 13" 2017 Dual Thunderbolt 3 and holds it in place with just a few clips. Those on the back of the keyboard do NOT protrude more than a few millimeters and are nicely rounded with no jagged edges. The color is really nice red. My MacBook is space gray so it's a bit more muted in the picture than it is in the silver case, but I like the darker shade of red it's taking on. I'll buy another one for the price. in another interesting color. Easy to put on and take off without damaging the laptop bag.
