Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Razer Tartarus v2 Gaming Keypad: Mecha-Membrane Switches - 32 Programmable Keys - Customizable Chroma RGB Lighting - Programmable Macros - Black by Ada Lipczyska แ Œ

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, its pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

Before that, there was a SteelSeries Merc Stealth keyboard, I bought it as a replacement and I compare the gaming unit with it. There are big complaints about the device in terms of ergonomics: the device is quite large, for a large palm and long fingers. Some of the buttons are difficult and inconvenient to reach, I hope I'll get used to it, but I strongly recommend that everyone who wants to buy feel the device live in the store before buying it. The buttons are mechano-membrane, i.ะต. it's still a membrane, but with an additional click bracket. It clicks quite loudly, the key travel is large, and the size of the keycap itself is large and flat, which is why your fingers lie blindly past the necessary buttons, you have to adjust the position. The cross for walking is useless - it is impossible to simultaneously press your thumb on it and on the space bar to jump. As a result, it can be used simply as additional thumb buttons. The spacebar is also in an awkward place - too far back. The key travel itself is also large, it is inconvenient to press. The device turned out to be quite controversial and the previous keyboard wins in terms of convenience, it's a pity that it is no longer produced .

Pros
  • High-quality assembly, comfortable palm rest, extensive key programming options
Cons
  • Too expensive, uncomfortable ergonomics
