As mentioned, these aren't the prettiest pieces for a full board game. Based on the reviews I read, I put off the purchase for about 3 months. I've spent several hours on the internet and couldn't find anything ready made or custom made at a reasonable price. It's reasonable not to be between $0.25 and $1.00. I even tried buying a piece of wood, cutting it down and printing my own decals. The easiest way was to just buy these things. Without them, it's almost impossible to play the game with a set of thinking pieces included in the original set. The numbers are larger than in the original set and appear to have been burned out with some sort of woodworking tool. You put three because they are useful, if not beautiful.
