I wanted a duvet cover that was NOT made out of that microfiber or satin. I wanted REAL Egyptian cotton, 400 thread count or better. It's hard to find these days. I find the microfiber is too warm to sleep under and the satin slips off the bed too much. I just prefer my sheets and linens to be comfortable and attractive. This duvet hit the mark. I was so sure I was getting something claiming to be Egyptian cotton but it actually turned out to be satin. So I was very happy when I opened this cover and looked at it! Right on the label! 100% Egyptian cotton! And the color is better than the picture! So I gathered up the duvet cover, washed it in cold water and dried it in medium water. And this beauty has a zip at the bottom instead of buttons! It was perfect! I ran to my computer and ordered a second one in a different color. Finally!, Sheet Comfort! Every night I look forward to jumping into bed under my wonderfully soft cotton comforter and duvet!
