I run hard bags on my other two bikes but decided to go with wraps on my Victory Hammer because I thought the Hammer would look better with smaller bags and I mean la Pink bag wanted to keep on the seesaw. Also, the Hammer's fender brace bolts are awkwardly placed (okay, they're not really for the fender, they're for the chrome trim), making it difficult to install hard panniers. I would be willing to take the risk if the hard cases were Tsuyaku (designed for the bike) but other hard cases are out of the question. I came across them and liked them. Willie&Max is the Dowco product that was sold to me because I own and love several Dowco products. These bags are no different. These bags are rigidly attached with hard bag mounts from a well-known American manufacturer. Inside the bag, I added 1/8" thick (6061 T6) aluminum support plates that run the full length of the bag to securely attach and stiffen the bag. I kept the throw, running under the rear seat trim to support the weight. Pockets on the small side. I can fit my heavy leather riding jacket (unlined) neatly folded into a pocket. There is enough room for a pair of riding gloves, but definitely not gloves. So why four stars? - Internal stiffening ribs are made of plastic resembling cardboard Very soft and flexible I would like Dowco to use hard hard plastic for the fairing (next to the bike) - The zippers on the cape are plastic and very difficult to close or open. - Fastex buckles are odd shaped and very difficult to use, I think it's easier to just undo the straps.
