My cats (I have three of them) love love love cardboard scratching posts. So much so that I thought this one would be ripped apart in a few days. Well, here's the weird thing, it's not because they don't scratch it. You will sit on it. You will sleep on it. But they won't scratch him. Nearby we have another cardboard scraper ready for the bin. This one will probably last forever as it has never been scratched. The corrugation of the cardboard is slightly different on this one, maybe that's why? I am not sure. Maybe you don't like surfing? No idea. I have attached some photos with my two cats doing what they are doing on this one. Aside from taking a nice photo of a cat surfing, I don't know what else to do with it. I'm really at a loss as to why they aren't scratching it. So I'm deducting a star just because my cats don't scratch. a cat scratching post that my cats won't scratch, but the value for money decision is up to you, the consumer, to determine if you're willing to pay that much.
