Satisfied - with hair and acne

No complaints. I was just surprised that I didn't understand that it was green clay. It's just a shade of green, not a bright green, so no problem. I use it for my teenage son's hair and acne detox. I thought it helped his acne. The small closed bumps have reduced and the total count has reduced with use. Inflamed pimples, however, appeared lighter. This didn't bother me at all because after reading almost all the reviews I suspected that deep acne would tighten up and look worse before it got better. I'll update this review if I see anything different. In the meantime I'm working on the stability of my son's use :) As for the smell - the problem is that people use apple cider vinegar (ACV) which keeps its smell stronger and longer. If smell is a problem, just use distilled white vinegar. The only thing I noticed when mixing was a smell of sulfur, which went away after mixing was complete. Bubbling is cool. I have found that adding some olive oil and water instead of all the vinegar is less irritating and easier to remove. It will take longer to dry but is easily removed with a silicone edged tool (spatula) over a piece of paper towel. It's way cheaper than food grade and I couldn't figure out if they use high quality steel in the mining industry or not. since contact with any other metal can neutralize its detoxifying potential. That was the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Anyway, that's a lot at around $6 a pound when you can buy a bulk product at $9 a pound. If you use it often or in large quantities, it makes sense.
