When this pillow arrived I had been having a horrible cramp under my left shoulder blade all day. Can't say for sure if the pillow fixed it but the cramp was gone by the next morning after 1 night on this pillow. Unpacking was easy and it only took a few minutes to unfold. I didn't smell any smell at all. I sleep on both sides and back and the pillow is amazing in every way. I also found it comfortable to lean against the headboard; I turned it vertically and laid my back on the "Valley". Since the pillow core, unlike my normal pillows, is not washable, I put it in a cover. The bad boys are sick in bed and I don't want this hit! This is a great pillow and I highly recommend it.
