My adopted kitten had a very bad nose and eye infection so I bought this item here. It blows a nice cold mist but make sure it's positioned correctly. I thought it didn't work when I first tried it, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't start right away! Follow the instructions EXACTLY. For the kitty, I put some microwave socks in a medium sized box with rice to keep the kitty warm, and then let this thing run around in the corner. After 10 minutes the kitten started breathing better! It's certainly not a permanent fix, but it's been great for helping the healing process!
