There seems to be a lot of misunderstandings about SD cards, categories and write speeds. Like everything else in photography, manufacturers try to sell us bulk. The days of 10 megapixel cameras are long gone. These days a new camera MUST be over 18 megapixels to be considered good value! The same with SD cards. If it's not 128 megabits and 200 download bits, it's not an SD card. Should be the biggest, best and fastest right? In truth, these fast cards (SDXC) are primarily designed for video and burst mode. The average SD buyer won't notice the difference in single shots. You "may" notice faster download speeds to your computer. For more information, see this website: sdcard.org and then click "The more you know...". These cards will be all I need for a while.
