When I first tried this product I was amazed at how easy it is to apply and does wonders for lash length - definitely the best natural lash extensions I've used ever had used. ever tried. and I've tried a few things. The brush is straight (not curved like some), but the length of the bristles is designed to form a U-shaped curve, making it easy to catch those little lashes at the corners of your eyes. Hooray! But then I was disappointed. I went for a long walk and when I got home I found my whole face covered in mascara - a horrible looking panda. People must have thought I was really sick of those black bags under my eyes! I almost threw it away on the spot. Since throwing it away would be a waste of time, I decided to keep it and use it around the house and for very short trips. I was lucky because one day I forgot to apply my usual moisturizer (100% baobab oil) and was thrilled that the product actually stayed in place this time. a kind of tonic and serum) when I go out. The lengthening effect is good enough to make it worth changing up my usual routine, which is saying a lot because I really love my baobab oil. Another thing I love about it is the smell. Usually, mascara smells pretty bad. I was never conscious of the smell, but this one made me realize that all of my previous mascaras were pretty awful. It's sweet, innocent and very feminine. I have no idea what creates this smell, but it's definitely better than what I'm used to. Sometimes the mascara causes a slight itch in my eyes, which I think is some kind of irritation. Not with that. Not that far, that is. So again, this is a very pleasant product to use. Overall, this brand is a great brand and deserves your support. From healthy ingredient lists to sustainable packaging initiatives, this brand definitely deserves attention. Although I want to give it 5 stars, the fact that I have to remember not to mix it with oils is the reason I don't have a star. However, I haven't tried any other oils with it, so I can't comment on that. Baobab is the only oil I don't get breakouts with, so I don't really want to experiment with others.
