**WARNING** Apparently this only works with the Note4. If you plan to upgrade to S5/S6 or Note5 soon, please buy Samsung Gear VR (NOT innovative version). I loved it. I bought my Note4 a few months before the 5 was released and I didn't know about it so will have this phone for a while. That's why I bought this. THAT'S WONDERFUL. I watched the presidential debates on CNN in VR. It was like watching an old 320 x 240 tube TV (which shows my age) but it was broadcast live so you can't expect perfection. It was such an amazing and exciting experience. I also liked virtual stuff, horror games (oh my god! I can only play a little bit) and live stuff. Imagine walking the streets of New York with a deputy reporter at a march against police brutality. I HAVE MADE! ***WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW*** At the same time, buy anti-fog wipes for glasses or glasses. If you have a Note5, the new Gear VR has an integrated anti-fog fan and a passthrough to power your phone while in use. That's why I'm telling you, if you think you can upgrade to the Note5, buy the Gear VR, NOT the Innovator Edition. Your battery will be empty in less than an hour. When you use a graphics-intensive application (e.g. a car game), your phone overheats. When I play kart racing my phone starts to overheat after about 15 minutes. I had to remove the back cover from the phone and then point a panoramic fan at my face (the back of the phone) to avoid overheating issues. Regular VR experiences will NOT cause this issue. Therefore, many VR environments and slow games don't have this problem. Also, it is necessary to keep the optics clean. I wear glasses, so I have a mild glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. TAKE THEM. Finally. if it's not already clear. You must remove your case. As far as I know it only fits the bare phone (I haven't tried forcing my phone into a case). I have an otter box. And it's a pain in the neck! All in all, if you plan to keep your Note4 for a year or more, BUY IT. THE MOST AMAZING PLEASURE. It's not exactly mature, but apps are constantly being added and it's a lot of fun. VERY USEFUL FOR KIDS! There are some really great E/I applications out there. Also, you should note that it is powered by Oculus technology and they try to "control the media" like iTunes. It's a bit annoying because there are plenty of 360 videos on YouTube but no YouTube support and when you plug in your phone it goes straight to the Oculus software so you don't plug in your phone and then the Google Cardboard app to view Google stuff :(
