Stapler works fine. It's a little hard to squeeze the handle to hammer in the staples. There were no instructions on the product, not even labels, so you'll have to learn how to use the stapler by trial and error. I ordered several packs of Stanley staples at the same time as the stapler so if I run out of the small pack that came with the stapler I have extra staples. To my disappointment, these staples did not fit in the stapler. If I had to do it all over again, I'd spend a few more dollars and buy one of the famous brands of staplers.
