So I've tried several of these gift bags over the years. I have three children and my family loves shopping online and sending gifts this way. When they arrive I wrap them up. Well now that our 3rd child is here and due to divorce/remarriage my children have so many grandparents that there are so many presents to wrap. It started to get overwhelming. I decided some of the gifts could be put in these bags. They look and feel like Mylar balloons but are slightly thicker than a balloon. Having used them from other brands before, I can say that they are good for storing heavy, sharp or very angular gifts. They intentionally don't have a broader base. Basically like a balloon. The package is essentially sealed at the bottom, you tie the top together, and it's fluffed up in the middle depending on the size of the gift. The ribbons included in the kit tie easily and I had no trouble untying them. The gift tags are cute and easy to slide onto the ribbon before closing the bag. There are also twist ties, like the ones you put on bread bags if you feel you aren't getting a sufficiently secure closure with the ties, but I haven't used those. All in all it's a quick and beautiful way to wrap gifts and this year my job is going to be a lot easier.
