I live in a house in Charleston and there is a long hallway in the middle of the upper level that is dark even when no overhead lights are on. I wanted wall lights, but hiring an electrician to install the wired lights would be expensive and time consuming, especially as this level is rarely used by guests. After researching battery powered lights, I ordered two of these lights and hung them on each side of the bathroom door. The lamps have two lighting modes - bright and night mode, and glass shades look more expensive. than the plastic I've seen before. They're quick and easy to install and while I don't know how durable the plastic battery cases will prove to be, so far I'm happy with my purchase.
