Feel good product with great eyelash growth, poor applicator

I was happy to find and purchase this product as I was looking for a natural solution to thinning eyelashes and eyebrows. According to the instructions, use it 2-3 times a day, that's enough for me. My sister, for whom I also bought this product, said that she found it difficult to apply it in the morning before makeup because if the product isn't dry enough, the oily base causes problems with her makeup, and out of it Because they I haven't always been diligent with I haven't noticed much improvement in my lashes. However, after 5-6 weeks of careful use, I noticed an increase in lash length which helped my lashes look thicker as my original lashes tended to get shorter in my 30+ years. In all of this I find it quite surprising that it worked as the applicator is undesirable. This is a brush tube with a button on the end of the wand that directs more product onto the bristles. This sounds great in theory, but it takes a few clicks, sometimes 5, sometimes 20, to push the liquid through. What I often found was a super bead escaping because I was impatient and trying to guess how many clicks it would take, rather than waiting after each click to see if it was the magic number that would release the liquid . I never calculated how many clicks are officially required to apply the right amount of liquid to the bristles each time. Maybe a clear wand applicator to see it penetrate? Or a more structured release applicator that was more time efficient and wasted less product? On several occasions I got excess product dripping into my eyes that felt like petroleum jelly. But I think it's worth knowing that it's very natural and won't hurt you in any way, while other eyelash growth serums can sting and be harmful if it gets in your eyes. Would happily buy again if the folks at MIT fix the flow issue and maybe switch to a simple dip and paint style. The product itself would get 4.5 stars because it works great naturally for 6 weeks when used as directed. The 3 stars are for the click engine which I feel is inefficient and getting in the way of what could have been a lot easier.
