Review on Sorel Youth Yoot Pac Outdoor Boot for Boys' Shoes by Damon Atonyo

Has the same Yoot Pac lining which is sold separately and the open top you see over the leather is light gray (the same color as the stripes on the rubber). The background of the bear logo is also light gray. There is no white in these boots. The boots I received in a size 4 for big kids have 6 straps on each shoe to hold the laces, not just 4. I'm guessing the boots shown in the ad with only 4 are boots for little kids. The lining, i.e. the insulating part, can be removed and replaced without damaging the outer shoe. The outer boot is made of thin leather and rubber and is the waterproof part. The inner seams of the outer boot are thick and rough. I couldn't take out the lining pieces to use them like regular wellies. They would be too big and I would have blisters on my ankles. Even with lining I have to wear knee socks because of the chafing. Made in China so think small. If you wear size 2-3 they are probably fine. If you wear a size 4-5 Crocs (made in Canada) they will be too small, mainly due to the lining. But still looks squat and the legs seem to be 2-3 times thicker. When you first put them on they are stiff and make me walk weird for example. Heel-TOE, heel-TOE, heel-TOE on flat surfaces. After about 20 minutes of wearing they loosened up a bit. They actually felt better when walking on uneven surfaces, so I decided to keep them to myself. I needed warm and dry boots that could be worn in the yard and on dirt sidewalks. Sitting in it, my feet were cold. When I moved and walked on the street, my feet got warm. There is almost no arch support, I think adding some will make it more comfortable. In general, I wouldn't let them go broke.
