I use this cable a lot in my 7.1 Theater, 3.1 Office System and 2.1 Garage System and I don't even think about replacing it with something "better" in terms of solid state amplifiers. The Wire seems to deliver what the amp and speakers deliver at the price they all are. I recently upgraded my vintage 2.0 system from the 90's with fairly expensive Cardas and Nordost interconnects between a discontinued Sonic Frontiers SFL-1 preamp, a discontinued Conrad Jonson PV 11A amp and a now discontinued JBL Studio 230 LOL.batting 1000 plugged. Seems so hear this system is able to not even think of a line again. The deepened upper-midrange of the 230s looks exactly the same, judging by the reviews. With this cable I hear stunning high frequencies without harshness and room-resonant low frequencies up to the 55 Hz rolloff limit. Not to mention that much more expensive cables (like the Virtue Audio Nirvana already ordered) don't bring out the nuances in THAT particular system, but that's a topic for another discussion. I like the heavier gauge, the red stripe to identify the positive wire, the ease of disconnecting, stripping, and twisting bare wires together before connecting. I love the sound of all my 13 speakers when connected to this cable! But need to adjust the lamp system a bit, but no problem with the cable for the solid!
