To connect a music player to the Aux socket of my car radio. The first cable was only mono ----- the sound only came out of my right speakers. The replacement cable they sent me had a different problem - the volume had to be cranked up MUCH more before you could hear anything, and even then the sound was very tinny with no bass. The shorter cable I replaced didn't have any of these issues, so I know it's not an issue with my hardware. However, the seller sent a replacement free of charge and gave me a quick refund when the replacement cable didn't work either.
